Sierra Club Elections are open now!

Active people outdoors

We are posting this on behalf of a BNC Member:

Your vote can change the direction of the Sierra Club!

Berkeley and Oakland have been actively increasing Chapter membership, likely to a record amount. Given that last year's election of current leadership, Chapter-wide, was won by only 140 votes, this bodes well.  Only 1,200 out of 30K members voted last year, so every vote really does matter here.

Voting has started; enrolling new or returning members has ended (the deadline was 10/31).  All members will get a ballot, both in the back of the Chapter magazine, the Yodeler, and by an email from the Chapter with a link to the ballot.  If you receive neither, call the local Chapter office: (510) 848-0800. You may need your Member ID which is on the back of the Yodeler. If you cannot find it, call Member Services: 415 977 5653.

See the link below about the issues and the candidates and make sure you and yours vote.  Contact those that may have joined or rejoined due to your influence.
